ijji.com Premiers Warrior Epic’s Massive Update

IRVINE, CALIF. – Dec. 23, 2009 – ijji.com is launching never-before-seen content on its free-to-play hardcore online gaming portal through a partnership with online game innovator True Games Interactive. ijji.com’s nearly 10 million community members can now explore fresh fantasy-inspired maps, including mystical swamps, mysterious mansions and fierce jungles, as the first players to discover the newly updated multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG), Warrior Epic.

Warrior Epic is a natural fit for the ijji.com community, with hardcore gaming elements and an engaging and creative storyline of warriors and spirits,” said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA. “True Games Interactive is making a name for itself in online entertainment and we are thrilled to partner with them to further our goal of drawing players deep into a variety of exhilarating worlds available on a single portal, ijji.com.”

Warrior Epic proudly finalized content for its first major expansion, and ijji.com will be the inaugural publisher for the latest version of the game. In Warrior Epic: Battlegrounds, players will assume command of a Warrior Hall, or castle, from which they manage their multiple characters’ wild adventures. By recruiting from a wide array of Warrior Classes, each with its own style of play, gamers strategize to build their own army of destruction as they forge their way into a world of multi-player dungeons solo quests and player versus player (PvP) gameplay modes.

“An online gaming portal like ijji.com immediately puts Warrior Epic in the hands of several million avid fans, and we are confident from there Warrior Epic will speak for itself,” said Jeff Lujan, CEO, True Games Interactive. “The game’s unique gameplay will complement, yet stand apart from other experiences currently available on the hardcore gaming portal.”

A unique aspect of Warrior Epic is that death does mark the end of a player’s character. Instead, it opens totally new and strategic options for players. The game’s unique Warrior Spirit System enables fallen warriors to not only be revived at any time, but also to be transformed into spirits that can be bound to weapons for increased weapon abilities and skills, or called out to the battlefield to inflict massive damage for compatriots.

ijji.com Presents a Holiday Gift with Some Punch to MMORPG Lunia players: A New Street-Fighting Character

IRVINE, Calif. – Dec. 23, 2009 – While cute may rule on ijji.com’s popular anime-influenced massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG), Lunia, the addition of its latest rambunctious character, Ralph, may add some grit to the charm. In celebration of the holidays, Lunia bestows a raucous character, Ralph the Fighter, onto its players. Fans of the game, and ijji.com gamers generally, can now play Lunia as this extremely speedy, powerful and ferocious character and leave their enemies in critical condition while saving the lives of the innocent.

Lunia enjoys an astounding following for a reason - it is fast, fun, bright and always evolving – and we intend on keeping it that way,” said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA, which hosts ijji.com. “To keep our community and the fans of all our games, including Lunia, intrigued, we strive to incorporate fresh new characters and updates that satisfy gamers’ latest cravings. Keeping our eyes on trends and community boards alike, we cater to our members’ needs in a timely fashion.”

The story of Lunia revolves around an intricate plot of mystical characters and fantasy settings. The game possesses a unique anime-influence – with cell shading, in the style of Japanese Manga comics. Players battle monsters and each other over the course of multiple, increasingly difficult episodes, making their way through winding storyline of this mystical tale.

With the introduction of Ralph the Fighter, Lunia adds a new colorful character with a dark history. Ralph spent his childhood in the dark, cold corner of an alley, abandoned by his family, with no one to rely on but himself. He honed his fighting skills on streets filled with despair, avenging crimes against the innocent. Now at age 20, Ralph uses a fast and strong combat style as he continues to wage war in the name of the needy. Unlike many video game heroes, Ralph doesn’t cower behind a weapon to defeat his foes. Employing powerful timed punches and swift, menacing kicks, the feisty fighter stops his adversaries dead in their tracks.

For those ready to bring the New Year in with a new game and a new character, additional information about Lunia can be found at http://lunia.ijji.com.

WWII Yields to ijji.com’s Imagination, Nightmares as KARMA: Operation Barbarossa Heads into Closed Beta

IRVINE, Calif. – Dec. 15, 2009 – Gamers should prepare to see history in a new light. The leading hardcore online gaming portal, ijji.com, announced the kickoff of closed beta testing (CBT) for its World War II-inspired multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS), KARMA: Operation Barbarossa.  KARMA’s version of the Second World War isn’t the war from history books – the Germans never lost and their death grip on Europe continues to widen.  And just when players think they’ve seen the entire nightmare of war, zombie-riddled maps pit them against an ultimate adversary, the undead.

“ijji.com strives to provide a well-rounded, hardcore gaming experience for its nearly 10 million community members, and the addition of KARMA, with its unique twist on World War II and zombified maps is a no-brainer,” said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA, Inc. “ijji.com is a one stop shop for seasoned gamers’ needs, especially those seeking variety in the FPS genre – from science fiction to modern day warfare to the wars of our ancestors, to name a few.”

In KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, tenacious gameplay and thrilling missions will transport gamers to a time when battles relied on soldiers’ gut instincts and raw skills to attain glory on the battlefield without the aid of technology. Fast action combat ensues in a war-torn Europe that is completely under German control, enveloped in a similar storyline as that of World War II. Players choose which side to fight for; many must put cowardice aside and go head-to-head with violent and ruthless German soldiers in order to restore peace and save innocent lives in Europe, while others will enter the battle to defend the tyranny of the Axis nation.

The battle begins with the living pitted against each other – and the undead – as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Players interested in getting an early glimpse at what’s behind the Iron Curtain sign up here: http://karma.ijji.com.

Alliance of Valiant Arms’ Toxic Upgrade Prompts Massive Epidemic on ijji.com

IRVINE, Calif. – Dec. 8, 2009 – Alert the guards! An outbreak is festering on the hardcore online gaming portal, ijji.com, with its latest upgrade, Prison Break – Survival, for the ambitious Unreal Engine 3-powered multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS), Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A). Online FPS gamers are put to the test as they face deranged prisoners turned mindless murderers due to dangerous biochemical exposure.

Behind Prison Break, a riot erupted in the European Union’s (EU) prisoner of war camps, housed on a former Neo Russian Federation (NRF) black market research facility. Unknowingly, the camp’s fugitives were exposed to detrimental combinations of a biochemical agent that twisted them into mindless berserkers with nothing but killing on the brain. The players’ objective is to survive as long as possible while trapped in the locked prison facility – killing all infested prisoners. Automatically, A.V.A players will be positioned on the EU side, attempting to last as other members search for a way out of the menacing death trap the prison evolved into.

“The only thing more exciting than firing modern artillery at enemy soldiers, is firing to stop relentless, mind-altered enemy soldiers,” said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA, Inc. “It is important to ijji.com to maintain a sense of freshness with our existing players and to spark interest from those tentative gamers who have yet to venture to our hardcore gaming portal – nothing like endless sea of zombified soldiers to liven things up.”

In A.V.A, modern warfare hits combat zones around the globe where a formidable battle has broken out between the EU and the NRF.  Players are tasked with picking a side and squaring off in an unprecedented battle amongst skyscrapers and deserted city blocks.  With the signature quick-fragging action of the Unreal Engine 3, combat escalates quickly and tensions run high as players anticipate a bloody clash around every corner.  Europe has yet to see more ominous missions or relentless enemies as seen on the streets of Alliance of Valiant Arms.

The Swine Flu has nothing on the epidemic descending on Alliance of Valiant Arms. Brave souls ready to take on a sick challenge can put their survival skills to the test against the marauding escapees here: http://ava.ijji.com.
