Moblyng Games Bites Into New Game Genre, Launches m:Vampire

Redwood City, Calif. – July 8, 2009 – Sharpen your stakes and keep the garlic handy.  Moblyng Games today released its newest social mobile game, m:Vampire.  The cross-platform title for Facebook, Android/G1, iPhone, Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97 is the first vampire-themed role-playing game (RPG) that allows players to add and challenge friends from Facebook and a variety of supported smartphones, making it the only truly social vampire experience of its kind.

“As the leader in cross-platform social games, we’re excited to release m:Vampire as the first blood-sucking title to span multiple devices,” said Stewart Putney, CEO and founder, Moblyng Games.  “We recognized the popularity of the vampire genre and wanted to allow as many players as possible to connect and share their gaming experience on a variety of social gaming platforms.  As the first release of a vampire-themed RPG on Android, m:Vampire joins our existing top-25 rated casual games, m:Mafia and Dungeon Quest, and demonstrates our continuing game leadership on the Android platform.”

Moblyng Games designed m:Vampire using the proprietary software behind its previous titles – Dungeon Quest, Poker Dice, and m:Mafia – which  makes porting social games across numerous platforms easy and seamless.  Instead of weeks or even months that some developers require to port their applications, Moblyng Games does it in mere days, giving the company the freedom to bring more varied content to their fans whether they own an iPhone, Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 or Android/G1 phone.

m:Vampire is a vampire role-playing game that launches players into the dark world of Dracula and his fanged friends.  Feast on the blood of mortals, seduce unsuspecting runaways or conspire against enemies to earn money for worldly pleasures and gain favor with the elders who rule supreme in this engaging RPG.  While m:Vampire is free to play, the gaming experience can be enhanced with the purchase of additional in-game items and weapons.  m:Vampire is available now on Android and Facebook, with iPhone, iPod touch, Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 and Palm Pre versions coming soon.

Moblyng Games Reveals Dungeon Quest, Poker Dice on Multiple Platforms

Redwood City, Calif. – May 7, 2009 –Moblyng Games has just upped the ante for cross-platform social gaming.  With today’s release across Facebook, iPhone and Android of its first titles, Dungeon Quest and Poker Dice, players can enjoy the company’s social games, and invite their friends to play across multiple platforms.   Moblyng Games developed proprietary software that makes it possible to port games across numerous platforms in just a matter of days, versus more traditional development models that can take several weeks or more.

“We created Moblyng Games on the premise that the social games that you play on your PC should be seamlessly tied into – and enjoyed on – your mobile device, regardless of platform,” said Stewart Putney, CEO and founder, Moblyng Games. “Clearly this resonates outside of our offices as we were overwhelmed with the response our games have received, even before being publically announced.  And we are not even close to being done as we are gearing up to bring even more games to more platforms.”

Dungeon Quest is a fantasy role-playing game that allows players to quest and battle hundreds and even thousands of other players as they level up their character.  They can invite contacts from across platforms to join the game, and compete or collaborate to achieve in-game wealth and notoriety.  While Dungeon Quest can be played for free, players have the option to purchase “gems” that can be used to buy in-game premium items to enhance the game play.

Poker Dice is Moblyng Games’ casual poker game. With the roll of five dice, players follow the same principles of one of the most popular dice games in the world.  With the benefit of a simple interface, players can also compare their scores to their friends on Facebook, iPhone and Android, or invite new friends to join in.
