Ndoors Unveils Troy, Massive New Tactical Battle System in Ever-Expanding Atlantica Online

Upcoming Content Update Delivers Epic 100-on-100 Player Battles, Customizable Home Base and More

Los Angeles – June 3, 2010 – The Aegean Sea will run red with blood as the mythological Trojan War launches 1,000 ships in Atlantica Online, the strategic turn-based massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG) published by Ndoors Interactive. Later this summer, Atlantica Online’s newest update will unleash Troy, a nation that – with the help of a mysterious force – has become a peril to surrounding civilizations. The city’s defenses have proven impenetrable and even the mighty Sparta has been forced to its knees by the unyielding Trojans. Only by combining efforts will players be able to defeat these fearsome warriors. Challengers of Troy can sign up now for more information and get their first glimpse of the new map in an exciting gameplay trailer here.

Along with the introduction of Troy, the update will showcase Atlantica Online’s latest evolution in turn-based combat: The Tactical Battle System (TBS). The new TBS will allow players to take part in action-packed battles of epic proportions. Currently, fights consist of 15 players per side – each player controls one character and one mercenary to create exciting 30-on-30 skirmishes. With the full launch of the TBS players will join as squads or guilds to fight in colossal struggles of conquest with up to 100 characters per side. Strategy and teamwork will be more important than ever to destroy massive opposing armies.

“With the introduction of Troy we are continuing to build upon the strong foundation we’ve laid for our Atlantica Online player community,” said Peter Kang, CEO, Ndoors. “We are fully committed to providing fresh and exciting experiences to our fans as a way of thanking them for their loyalty and ongoing feedback. We look forward to the upcoming launch of Troy and are confident that current and future Atlantica Online players will enjoy the depth and intensity this new map will add to the game.”

Troy will also implement the Atlantica Online My Home System, which allows players to customize their “home base” with a variety of furniture, wallpaper and decorations, as well as providing a place to keep their mercenaries to train, help them craft new items and rest after strenuous battles. Atlantica Online combines innovative combat with profound character and party development, where players can assemble a clan of mercenaries to assist them in their adventures, as well as city and country management. Players take on the physically and mentally demanding quest to destroy the Oriharukon, a powerful energy source from the lost civilization of Atlantis. This dangerous element survived the demise of the “Lost City,” and its rampant spread is quickly endangering humanity. The epic journey takes players to some of the most historic and exotic locations around the globe, where they will come face-to-face with vicious monsters ripped from history and lore.

Atlantica Players Turned Designers for Newest Game Character

Ndoors Announces Mercenary Madness Contest Winner

Los Angeles – April 20, 2010 – Fans of Atlantica Online are making an impact on the game like never before. Ndoors Interactive selected a Grand Prize winner and five runner-ups from the Mercenary Madness competition last month, in which the community was invited to submit ideas for a new mercenary character to be added to the game later this year. Atlantica Online player, Symban, from Macedon, will see his character design brought to life in-game and added to his ranks. In commemoration of Symban’s lasting contribution to the game, he will receive original artwork depicting his mercenary, signed by the developers, Atlantica Online merchandise and 10,000 GCoins to be used in-game.

Symban’s submission is named Camilla: A Vampire Countess derived by the effects of the Oriharukon device in Bran Castle, she floats through the air, draining life from other players to sustain her existence. Camilla looks every bit the part of a Vampire Countess, with jet black hair contrasted against her snow-white skin and blood-stained lips. Players will be able to learn more about this mercenary as we near its release.

“We hope to bring our players imaginations to life every time they log in,” said Peter Kang, CEO, Ndoors. “It feels great to put pen to paper this time, and incorporate our contest winner’s creativity into an actual character players can turn around and use in the game. Thank you to all those who submitted designs, we enjoy our creative fan base and look forward to involving the players again.”

Wildly compelling designs were also submitted by the five contest runners-up:

o Catnarok from Argos
o Cuttlefish from Argos
o Squat from Argos
o Sellan from Macedon
o Opaj from Mycenae

All five will receive 5,000 Gcoins to utilize on our site. The developers will be incorporating the winning design into Atlantica Online later this year and players can stay updated on her development via the Atlantica forums.
