We kicked off 2021 with a pretty major – and awesome – product launch by helping our partners at EPOS introduce their latest premier gaming peripheral: the GTW 270 Hybrid wireless earbuds. Being EPOS’s first ever solely-branded product since its de-merger with Sennheiser, we knew we had to take their introduction to the next level.
With so many wireless earbuds on the market, it was key for us to hone messaging by differentiating the GTW 270 Hybrid from the pack. Along with the earbuds’ premium build, audio quality and positioning as the choice earbuds for gamers, we heavily emphasized the unique out-of-the-box compatibility with Nintendo Switch – the only earbuds on the market to offer this. Similarly, we expanded our outreach to PC and console enthusiasts ready to break free from over-the-ear headphones while gaming.
By leveraging the strengths and communicating our key messages, we effectively captured the attention of key gaming, mobile, Switch and tech media through our pre-launch and day-of pitching efforts. Check out some of the coverage we’ve locked in so far:
It’s always fun to handle PR for gaming gear – especially quality peripherals that we love to use ourselves (these earbuds sound awesome and are super comfortable – what more could you want?).
