How do you build hype for a product that originally launched in early 2021? That was the challenge we faced when audio brand EPOS relaunched the GTW 270 Hybrid. We set up reviews with a mix of new targets and writers from the initial launch. That way, we could reach new audiences while expressing how much these little earbuds grew over time. We also kept our ears to the ground and made the most of seasonal deals and roundup coverage.
We set ourselves up for success by locking down key review targets. Thanks to our lively pitching and coordinating, we secured interest with nearly 20 different outlets and shipped to several tier-one sites in the same week.
Keeping up the momentum, we racked in some seriously noteworthy coverage in the following months with reviews from Sportskeeda, ZDNET, and Windows Central—each boasting a monthly reach in the multimillions. Even with an already impressive lineup of coverage, we didn’t stop there.
While reading reviews is great, we knew that showcasing the GTW’s versatile features through video would highlight the earbuds even further. After reaching out to a variety of popular tech YouTubers, we acquired coverage with Gamesky and SimplyPops.
We then kept up momentum by capitalizing on gift guides by pitching the GTW 270 Hybrid as a gaming essential for this holiday season. With hits from Washington Times and Shacknews, it’s safe to say some lucky gamers may unwrap a pair of GTWs this year. 😉
EPOS dropped some killer deals on its products just in time for Black Friday. Our pitching of the sales resulted in some additional deals coverage and a highlight roundup from PC Gamer, keeping the product even more relevant through the holiday shopping season.
We made the most out of this relaunch by consistently finding new ways to keep media and influencers interested through this five-month period. Check out some of our top review and roundup coverage below:
EPOS hit the mark with these cozy earbuds, and we’re glad we got to spread the word. Make sure to check out the GTW 270 Hybrid along with EPOS’ latest release, the GSX 1000 2nd edition.
