With yesterday’s reveal of Moss: Book II at Sony’s State of Play event, the secret is finally out – one of the best-selling and most popular VR games of all time is back with a sequel, and Wonacott is playing a key role in getting the word out.
There was A TON that went into the reveal announcement as we worked closely with our partners at Polyarc: building out media lists, media training, securing and staffing interviews, distributing the announcement and so much more. We had to do it all under the veil of confidentiality, unable to even share the news ahead of time but still needing to say enough to pique editor’s interests.
We secured and staffed interviews as soon as we could, leading to coverage on IGN, Polygon, VentureBeat, Kotaku, UploadVR and Shacknews. Once State of Play wrapped up, we distributed the announcement wide and locked-in news coverage with the gaming industry’s top outlets such as GameSpot, GamesRadar, Comicbook, Destructoid and a more. As an added bonus, we secured an article with Seattle-based tech outlet, GeekWire. Polyarc is a Seattle-based studio, so this was essentially our proverbial cherry-on-top to our coverage.
We can’t wait to go along on the next journey with Quill and the Reader, and we’ll continue to tout the strengths of VR and Polyarc as we drive toward launch, whenever that may be. You can check out the Moss: Book II trailer on Polyarc’s YouTube channel here.
