The holiday season is the biggest shopping event of the year, and parents and gift buyers alike often turn to holiday gift guide roundups to help them find the perfect gift. This year, we placed over ten awesome products from Sold Out, Nighthawk Interactive, EPOS, Big Blue Bubble and PQube in more than 40 different editorial holiday gift guides. Just doing our part to spread the holiday cheer!
Working with a diverse set of products, we reached a wide range of media verticals. From mommy bloggers and top-tier gaming outlets to consumer and tech sites, we carefully crafted pitches tailored to journalists’ – and their audiences’ – interests.
With multiple family-friendly games such as My Singing Monsters Playground and L.O.L Surprise! Movie Night, we combined them in one family-focused pitch sent to media reaching consumers looking for kid-friendly products. We landed placements in all the right places, including Thrifty Nifty Mommy, MegaDads, Baton Rouge Parent, and many more.
We also had fun videogames for gamers such as KeyWe, a chaotic and adorable co-op, Colors Live, Nintendo Switch’s best digital art program where anyone can become an artist and Disney Classic Games, the retro 16-bit collection of Disney’s classic titles from the SNES and Sega Genesis. We tied those games with EPOS’s newest headsets, the H3 Hybrid and the H6PRO, in a dedicated pitch for gaming, consumer, daily and tech outlets.
As a result, the H6PRO headset was called “a terrific gift for competitive gamers” by Screen Rant and KeyWe “a great PS4 game for co-op fans” by PlayStation Universe. Colors Live and Disney Classic Games were listed on Under the Radar Magazine’s holiday gift guide, both highly recommended as the perfect game for all ages.
Next holiday season we’ll continue to secure great placements as we’ll have more exciting products launching from our clients this year. After all, being included in these gift guides is the best way to get our client’s products underneath the Christmas tree during the most wonderful time of the year.
