It’s always fun to work on amazing games, especially Nexon America’s LawBreakers, and it is even more incredible that our hard work on promoting the title was recognized by the PRSA-LA as a finalist for three categories at the show. As the Wonacott crew rolled up in our typical bombastic fashion alongside our friends at Nexon America, we were excited and nervous to see how the evening would turn out, especially with guest presenters John C. McGinley from Scrubs and Lauren Potter from Glee in attendance, who offered up fantastic and inspiring speeches.
With the competition stacked pretty high in each category, imagine our surprise (and complete fanatical delight) that not only did we walk away with two ‘Awards of Excellence’ plaques for LawBreakers, but that we also won a PRism Award in the Consumer Products category for Events and Observances with Nexon America and Boss Key’s private preview event for LawBreakers in Raleigh, NC! As you can see, we’re all pretty damned stoked with what we accomplished:
PRSA-LA PRism Award
- Strategic Campaigns for an Event: “Overcoming Raleigh – Battling Politics and Geography to Gain Preview Coverage for Lawbreakers’
Awards of Excellence
- Strategic Campaigns for Community Relations: “LawBreakers: A PC Gaming Icon Puts Community First in Unprecedented New Game Campaign”
- Strategic Campaigns for Marketing Consumer Products: “LawBreakers: Standing Out From the Crowd in the First Person Shooter Market.”
Nexon America has been a fantastic client to work with, especially with the myriad of titles they represent, and seeing our combined efforts for LawBreakers earn multiple nominations and awards is simply amazing to experience. As big fans of LawBreakers ourselves, we could not be more honored to help promote the game and are eager to continue supporting it to the fullest!
Once again, cheers to Nexon America and developer Boss Key Productions for all of their hard work on LawBreakers – and now we’re even more energized for what’s coming next for the game and next year’s awards!
