Wonacott Invades E3 2015!

Another year, another kickass E3 expo. This year, team Wonacott set out to help our friends over at Kobojo, LOOT Interactive and Versus Evil promote their stunning upcoming games. After booking what seemed to be a never ending list of media, locking in event venues, and coordinating all-day interviews, we were ready to take over E3 by storm!

Wonacott Scores Top Banner Placement for The Banner Saga 2

With E3 just a few days away, the Wonacott team has been hard at work lining up plans for media to see the awesome titles Versus Evil will be showing in Los Angeles next week.

One of the key titles for Versus Evil is the highly-anticipated The Banner Saga 2 from Stoic.

To make maximum impact before the show, we worked with leading website IGN for an for an exclusive first look to build anticipation for the game next week.

Wonacott Helps Moonchild Conquer the Media with Great Toren Coverage

At Wonacott, we love games and even more than that, we love letting others know about great games. After we helped our client Versus Evil preview Toren at GDC, which saw some great coverage, we were stoked on helping the get the word out about the release of the dark-fantasy adventure and secure some great reviews and launch coverage.

As technology enthusiasts (and a few of us who are Shonda Rhimes fans), the Wonacott team loves it when we get to work with clients that are converging entertainment and technology in new ways. After helping our rad client Takehollywood rock its launch event in February for the new online platform for aspiring entertainment professionals, we were stoked to help them with their second event – a live panel featuring Latinos in Hollywood.

Wonacott Invades the Highlands with Indie Developer Kobojo

Following up on a successful GDC for our client Kobojo, our chief PR Guy Jason Wonacott dug up his passport, packed his bags and made his way to Dundee, Scotland – the home of indie developer Kobojo’s new studio – for a media event featuring some of the UK’s top gaming outlets. Believe it or not, Scotland has a long and distinguished history of game development, which we can sum up in three words: Grand Theft Auto. And many of the region’s veteran development talent now call Kobojo home.

This week’s spotlight is on Digital Hollywood Spring, the premier entertainment and technology conference in the country. The conference started yesterday and runs through this Thursday at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif. Our own PR Guy Jason Wonacott will be there for a session on VR and AR in gaming and beyond. Alongside industry gurus from LOOT Interactive, Digital Domain, and Greenlight VR, Jason will be moderating the panel, which is a part of the virtual and augmented reality summit. Our client, uSens (check out their Kickstarter!), represented by Dr. Yue Fei, the company’s CTO and creator of Impression Pi, will be headlining the panel.
