It’s a match made in videogame heaven for Wonacott and USC Games. We’re pairing our decades of industry knowledge and passion with USC Games’ leading university program for interactive entertainment education to build a stellar PR campaign that highlights USC Games as the preeminent destination for ongoing interactive education.
We’re currently focusing on getting the word out about the USC Games Expo happening on May 8. Last year’s campus-wide Expo showcased over 80 projects from VR, mobile and console games, to board games, all created by USC Games’ alumni, students and faculty. This year’s USC Games Expo is shaping up to be even bigger with more projects and an esports showcase, and our preparations are already well under way. We’re leading media, influencer and student relations for the Expo to highlight this celebration of the program and the exceptional work its members create.
We’re already starting to share the stories and goals of USC Games by showcasing the great minds involved. Earlier this month we announced a new Director of the program, Danny Bilson, a well-respected games and entertainment industry veteran. With this news in hand, we engaged our core targets in entertainment, local, business and gaming industry verticals.
Introducing Bilson as director was a fantastic first milestone for Wonacott and USC Games, as we connected with key editors and started building momentum by securing coverage, and a few interviews, with our target outlets. Some highlights include:
- The Hollywood Reporter (24 million UMVs)
- LA Times (24 million UMVs)
- VentureBeat (9.4 million UMVs)
- Variety (6.6 million UMVs)
- Gamasutra (1.5 million UMVs)
There’s a lot more we’re excited to help unveil for the USC Games program and Expo, so keep an eye out – this’ll be one for the books!
