All hands were on deck as Team Wonacott partnered with our friends at Nexon America to officially kick off the PR campaign for Cliff Bleszinski’s Boss Key Studio’s lovingly crafted first-person shooter, LawBreakers. We began with a private event in Raleigh, N.C. and then timed coverage to hit at the same time as the public got its first-ever hands-on with the game at PAX East.’
Love’ was made on a digital level for writers and influencers from around the world with a private event hosted at an event space directly below the Boss Key Studio’s office in Raleigh.
Flying in more than 50 of our media and influencer peeps from all over North America to North Carolina for the first-ever hands-on with the game, we helped Nexon America and Boss Key Studios set the stage for positive previews. Each member of the press got hands-on time with the game, a full studio tour to see behind-the-scenes secrets, and the chance to interview members of the development team. On top of making media happy, Team Wonacott was completely over the moon when we saw coverage hit from outlets including IGN, Digital Trends, GameSpot and many, many more!
As covered posted on the eve of PAX East, we worked with Nexon America for additional bookings at the show, including time for Cliff and the Lawbreakers team on two livestreamed sessions with Twitch and Maker Studios’ Polaris!
The media and social media response has been VERY positive, and we’re still expecting a lot of great coverage from the media event and PAX East; it’s fair to say that this awesome kickoff is only the beginning for LawBreakers! Congrats to Boss Key Studios and Nexon America, and we’re looking forward to even more big coverage as we get closer to launch!
