E3 2015 was an incredible show with lots of exciting news on the show floor. As the expo tends to lean toward AAA console and PC games, we headed just down the street from the convention center in the swanky BottleRock LA Lounge where our client Kobojo wowedthe media with fully updated, never-before-seen version of its upcoming mobile game, Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey. With a glass of wine in one hand and an iPad Air 2 in the other, Kobojo CEO Mario Rizzo showed the game to more than (#) influential editors we booked just for the occasion, including from TechnologyTell, MMORPG.com, Digital Spy UK, and BleedingCool.com.
From challenging puzzles to a hardcore fast-paced, arcade-style twitch game, LOOT Interactive had a great showing at the IndieCade booth with its upcoming PlayStation games. We had an incredible time helping the LOOT team promote their awesome upcoming games Whispering Willows, Back to Bed and Velocibox. With over 36 media appointments booked we also lured in additional media to check out the games at our three PS4 demo stations. So far, we have been stoked with the coverage that we locked in with media outlets such as Bleeding Cool, PSNation and GamerHub.tv.
However, the fun didn’t end when the show floor closed on Day 1! After the show, the team headed over to El Cholo for a LOOT mixer and managed the RSVP list we coordinated. Nothing like sipping a cool margarita with our editorial contacts after a hard day’s work!
Versus Evil brought an impressive lineup of games to E3, including The Banner Saga 2 and Skyshine’s Bedlam, and Wonacott made sure the media got over to the indie publisher’s booth and checked out all of the awesome games. With five titles available for hands-on looks and with developers for many of the games, the Wonacott team was booked more than 100 media appointments (yes, you read that correctly!). We are thrilled with all the amazing coverage that has come following E3 from sites including Game Informer, GameSpot, Kotaku Australia, The A.V. Club, Engadget and The Escapist… with more to come!
And that’s a wrap everyone! What were you most excited about at this year’s E3? Let us know on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
